Chris Allman has been living out his dream of writing, creating, producing and performing music that inspires and encourages around the world for over 30 years. Born in Jefferson, NC, Chris was raised in the home of a pastor and was very active in the ministry with his family. At the age of 11, Chris sang his very first solo on Easter morning backed by the adult choir. Singing and hearing harmony came naturally and by the age of 16 he, along with his sister, had started The Allmans and began to sing locally for other churches. They recorded two albums… The Allmans Just Getting Started and Mamaw Allman's Favorites an album consisting of favorite hymns of the church. 

The experience of being in the recording studio sparked an excitement and love for creating music that he is just as passionate about today as he was all of those years ago.

At the age of 21, Chris joined a trio called Greater Vision and would write music for, travel and perform with them for five years before launching a solo ministry. With a young family of 5, Chris decided he needed to be more present as his children were young. His solo career flourished for 7 years until his father passed suddenly and it changed his direction. Allman moved his family back to NC from TN where they would plant a church and serve as the pastor of a new church in his hometown along with his seventh grade sweetheart and four children.

After serving there for 8 years, Chris felt that their time there was coming to an end and told his bride that he was ready to walk through any door that God would open for them. Kimberly, his wife was ready to walk wherever he felt God would take them. Within three months of praying for direction, God opened the door for Chris to return his family to TN as he accepted the position to sing tenor with the group he'd started with just 20 years before, Greater Vision.

Chris presently travels and performs every week with this trio. He has been a part of more than 20 recordings through the years and still has dreams for what is on the threshold, musically!
